A book’s format is how the interior text is setup to appear
for the reader to read. A publication may be formatted as a print
book or a digital/e-book. And there are more subcategories in book
formatting as well. Print books can come as paperbacks, mass-market paper backs, hardcovers, library bindings, oversized books,
etc. It gets even more specific because e-books have different formats
too. The most common digital book formats are EPUB, MOBI, and
PDF. EPUB being the most widely used. Then there are audiobook formats, which have even more formatting file types.
